Great food. Best french fries in LA! Hookahs on the patio for a smooth soothing smoke. Open late every night.

Delightful little gem I’ve always driven by but never went to until recently. Had a great dinner and hookah with friends for my wife’s birthday. The Dahnab feast is a plate of amazing grilled meats that were delicious. The hummus is fresh with a nice touch of tomato salad on top. The hookah was nice and tasty with a slight body buzz. The waitstaff was nice and attentive and always checked on the coals. The Turkish coffee was amazing and a great way to finish off dinner.

HUMMUS, HUMMUS, HUMMUS., As you will see in the picture, we did a giant BLIND Hummus competition. All told we had 14 from around the city (including some home-made. And Dahab Hummus was a near unanimous number one. Food is also great here. Their pita bread is a bit mediocre. it's the only not-so-great thing here. So my recommendation is to order the hummus to go and pick up pita bread from Bibi's on Pico or Lodge Bread Company and THEN, you will have gone to Hummus Heaven. We are self-proclaimed Hummus experts. We hail from Israel and we have searched far and wide. Dahab is the best. PERIOD. END Of SENTENCE.

This place isn’t what it looks like , food is good and staff is friendly, service is a bit slow . You can’t smoke inside !! It’s a bit expensive compared to others and it lacks decoration and location ( view ) !!

Exotic middle eastern food that are hard to find elsewhere. They have some unique Egyptian dishes that every foodie must try.Their dessert menu is just as unique. There is a lot more than just baklava and some middle eastern dessert that you find in other middle eastern restaurant. Our server was very nice and attentive. Will go back to this place again

Food is authentic and absolutely delicious! BEST garlic sauce, tomato soup and chicken shawerma that I've EVER had! (And I absolutely adore garlic and tomato soup!) The shrimp is pretty excellent as well. Customer service here is pretty exceptional! They're very kind here and treat their regular customers very well. We're willing to drive a total of 40 miles just to eat here (20 miles there and back). If I lived closer, I'd want to eat here every day!

I've been eating here for years. Very good middle Eastern food, and open late. They also are a very popular hookah lounge. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

10/10 on everything we had here... Highly recommend.... Good atmosphere... Even smoked some hookah after dinner. It was fun!

Don't judge this place by its looks. The food is pretty good. This was my first time at an Egyptian restaurant and I really liked to the Koshari.

Such a unique place for hanging out with friends, service is always great, very kind, friendly, and professional staff.

I'm impressed with the level of service at The Office lounge - I guess some people were filming around the area and there was no space to park so instead of wasting time I called and placed my order and ask to replace a specific salad with another I went in and picked it up it was done in 10 minutes maximum 15 by the time I got to my car it was perfect really tasty have a big variety of dishes that are Mediterranean I believe from Egypt that I don't find anywhere else such.

The food, hookah and desserts are always on point and traditional Egyptian style. My favorite dish is the Grilled Shrimp with rice and tahini. Their kunafa is exactly how I like it, which is with custard and not cheese. But the best part about this place is that there could be a line of people waiting outside and you will NEVER be pressed to cash out or get out. They want you to chill and take your time, bc they take their time in making food and drinks to order. I've dined alone and with friends, and the quality is consistent. Wonderful gem of owners too!

Great hookah, great food!

I've always enjoyed my meals here. The ambiance is different at night of course. I was able to bring my small dog with me once, I had to eat on the outside patio. The staff has always been friendly. The meals take a while to get to you but, if you order ahead of time it helps.

Good Egyptian food. Could do with a fever lift, decor wise, very courteous staff. Orders take long to come out.

I've been eating at Cafe Dahab for many years. While I don't smoke hookahs, I do love their Egyptian middle Eastern food. Their lentil soup, which is made with carrots also, is delicious. Excellent hummus, and I like a lot of different types of hummus. The people who work there are very nice, and the ownership has consistently been terrific. Outdoor seating and late at night it's a fun place. They're open very late every night. Highly recommended!

While I love to support locally owned restaurants serving Egyptian cuisine, Cafe Dahab's food quality is as unpredictable as the weather!!!Having been there six times over the course of six months at various times, the food can range from mediocre to delicious. Service is almost non-existent regardless whether they are busy or not.Food can be authentic Egyptian if it's cooked by the Egyptian chef who usually only works after 8pm...all other times BEWARE!

Food is delicious, everything we had was so good! I took one star because of the hookah, don’t recommend the hookah at all, it is so bad! You will smoke different Flover from the one you ordered! The worst hookah ever!

My favorite place in LA! Food is outstanding, 2 skewer plate is delicious with lots of little extras middle eastern style. Owners are working or hanging here all the time so they really keep a great vibe. Only wish (which is likely impossible since hookah is considered smoking and is such a contested thing in LA) is I wish they had a location with a sunset view of the beach!! — never going to happen as hookah places are very few and far between on the Westside, but for hookah smokers is 10/10... I would come here for the hookah even if the food wasn’t good. Great that the food IS good, makes it so my non Arab non hookah smoking friends will come with! Love this place!

I enjoyed my visit here. I had a hot chocolate with hazelnut bliss and a small muffin. Everything was great, including the service! You could tell this place was a local favorite hangout spot. It was quite busy, but we had many seating options, either inside or outside. We will be back for sure and recommend the place to my friends.

Authentic Egyptian food. Kebda, koshri and bashamil are the best there.

Been going to Dahab since 2003 and it has gone through a lot. Owned by a great family and the staff is delightful. Over the years special gems have gone but this is definitely a place for fun on the occasional celebration, to relax or studying.

The food was excellent. Nice atmosphere.

Great place for Cafe food. Went there on a Saturday. I will be back with my relatives. Not so close to my office, unfortunately.
